The Information Technology Services (ITS) Help Center has started a pilot program to extend weekday hours. Help Center operations now are 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
According to Fritz Hjardemaal, ITS Help Center manager, the later hours are an effort to better serve faculty and students who arrive on campus for evening classes.
“We hope that by extending our availability until 6:30 p.m., these members of our campus community will have greater access to technology assistance,” said Hjardemaal.
ITS officials will evaluate this pilot program at the end of the spring semester to determine if it is adequately meeting the needs of the campus.
